My background in Project Checking, 3D Modeling, Drafting, QC Inspection/Testing, Production Labor, & Steel Shop means I catch Reinforcing, Dimensional, & Hardware conflicts before they reach the formwork.

THE ADVANTAGE

I started my career in August 2019 & have specialized in bridging the gap between the shop floor & the design office to ensure drawings are 'pour-ready' before production.

I transitioned from Quality Control Inspection into Drafting to prevent production errors at the source. But soon realized that the source is even earlier in the design process. So now I work with the Architect, Engineer, Modeler, Manager, Owner, & Supplier.

Now Precast & GFRC Design LLC is a Colorado-based specialist providing Precast Detailing Services for Precast Producers nationwide since July 2025.

(Start March 2023)
Drafter, Modeler, & Checker.

Precast, GFRC Cladding, Industrial, & Architectural projects for: Walters & Wolf, Coreslab Structures, Clark Pacific, Willis Construction, Wells Concrete, etc...

I did 40%-to-70% of the Modeling & Drafting on the projects for Clark Pacific & Wells Concrete.

3D Revit Modeling: Pieces, Connections, Reinforcing, Lifting, & Hardware.

2D Drafting/Checking: Elevations, Floor-Plans, Shape/Connection Details, Piece Tickets, & Production Details. Using Revit & AutoCAD.

Trained two of their Drafters.

Redid/finished the work of other Drafters after they were fired.

Covered extra Revit Modeling while other Modeler was on PTO.

Explained Wells Concrete's Reinforcing & Lifting standards to Engineers. Explained their annotation, detailing, naming standards to Drafters & Checkers. Explained their Revit Families & how to use EDGE^R to Modelers.

Lots of Multi-Pour Match-Cast Column Covers & Spandrels. Both Precast with Thin-Brick, & GFRC Cladding. Where the panels need poured in stages; rotated 90 degrees, then the next part is poured. Also Reinforced & drew Radius Sandwich Wall Panels, & Sandwich Wall Panels with diagonal reveals going both ways.

Rose through the ranks during the transition from Rocky Mountain Prestress to new Brighton Plant during Covid (45-to-70 hours/week):

Handled hands-on Pre-Pour QC inspection for their PCI AA Certification, 2D Drafting, & Piece Ticket Checking for Total Precast structures. Specialized in verifying reinforcing, hardware, & dimensional accuracy to ensure shop-floor success.

While at the Rocky Mountain Prestress location: Lots of Mild-Reinforced Wall Panels with Thin-Brick, & all of the pieces to build the new Plant in Brighton.

While at the Wells Concrete Brighton Location: Lots of Architectural Prestressed Sandwich Wall Panels, Load-Bearing Spandrels, Walls with Thin-Brick.
