Partners
Interested in Augmented Reality software & hardware for visually overlaying digital 3D Models over real world production? Looking to make production & Quality Control Inspections go more smoothly?
Having trouble training new hires to understand drawings?
Or maybe you're just looking for that edge to outperform your competitors?
Then here's a company for you to check out & set up a demonstration with!
They've treated me extremely well by offering to connect my company to Model buildings for their network of Precast Plants who are already using 3D Models or are interested in transitioning to using 3D Models!
Click on their logo or this link https://www.fabstation.com/partner-precastgfrc/?utm_source=precastgfrc to be taken to the landing page I requested for you to learn more about them & set up a video meeting, & if you decide to subscribe to their software, I'll receive a share of their commission (which doesn't affect your cost, except to help your negotiating power).
About
My name is Patrick Eugene Christensen
Hi! I started this LLC because I've always liked a challenge. I'm a big fan of the Precast & Prestressed/Post-Tensioned building methods, the GFRC Cladding method, the Tilt-Up method, & the Hollowcore method.
I started at Wells Concrete during their transition from Rocky Mountain Prestress as a Laborer; then worked in the Steel Shop, then as a Quality Control Technician, then Quality Control Inspector. I realized that if I was the one drawing the blueprints: I could help everyone downstream, so I transferred to the Drafting Department; & after several months of Drafting using Revit it became clear that I was good at Checking other people's work & became a Project Checker.
Most recently I worked at FDG inc. (Frontrange Design Group) as a Drafter (Revit & AutoCAD), Modeler (Revit), & Checker. Primarily doing Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) Cladding projects for Walters & Wolf, Clark Pacific, & Willis Construction. As well as Precast buildings for Wells Concrete & helping with a few other clients as needed. As a Modeler I found even more ability to affect things upstream!
Luckily I've been able to learn from very experienced coworkers at both companies & tried to ask as many questions as possible of the: Engineers, Modelers, BIM Department, Checkers, Project Managers, Stripping-Shipping & Handling, Labor Crew Leaders, Quality Control Department, etc...
Also I've read several PCI & ACI textbooks/manuals, & attended courses at the PCI & NPCA Convention.
For fun: I enjoy Hosting or attending activities organized by Events & Adventures, going to Meetup groups, playing volleyball leagues through Volo Sports, Paint & Sips, attending plays/musicals, watching Anime, & I usually have an Audiobook playing when possible.
